New sleep schedule

Starting today, I’m experimenting with this new sleep schedule. I go to bed at around 10pm and wake up at 5am.

I decided to do this because I wanted to join the US Masters Swimming Club. The one closest to my place meet at 5:30am for the classes so if I want to join I have to get up at 5am at least.

So I just did that. Getting up at 5am. Going to bed at 10pm the previous night was very challenging as I expected, but somehow I made it happen. Tart cherry juice, magnesium and ashwaganda helped (the trio that I got immense help to cope with my insomnia!). I didn’t go to the swimming club though since there’s no class today (Classes are on Monday Wednesday and Friday). Instead, I’m spending this morning working on my personal goals — Reading the Bible, daily devotional, Duolingo, writing a blog post (what I’m doing now), piano practice, and game development.

I hope I keep up with this new schedule and be able to publish a blog post a day. This is the new start of my daily writing sprint that I confidently started but fell off the wagon.
